Carol Akright is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) stockbroker and insurance agent, specializing in intergenerational planning, retirement funding, couples money teamwork, and wealth-building.  Ms. Akright is also author of Funding Your Dreams Generation to Generation.  A frequently invited guest on radio and TV, Carol Akright is the creator and executive producer of Funding Your Dreams, the nationally acclaimed PBS-TV series.

As a financial educator, Carol Akright lectures worldwide at both public and corporate seminars on investment strategies, “Dreamfunding” and a wide range of wealth-building topics.  Carol Akright's corporate clients have included ABC-TV, Piedmont Airlines, The Gas Company, Edison International and Sandia National Labs.

Carol Akright is a Registered Principal and Branch Manager of Associated Securities Corporation, a Los Angeles-based full-service brokerage firm, and is a Registered Investment Advisory affiliate for Associated Planners Investment Advisory.  Ms. Akright is also a Registered Life Planner from the Kinder Institute.

Prior to joining Associated Securities, Carol Akright worked for eleven years as an award-winning television journalist, syndicated internationally as a personal finance correspondent.  Ms. Akright entered the financial services industry in 1984 and worked for five years as a Financial Consultant at Shearson Lehman Hutton.
