Catherine McCarthy's Key Accomplishments Include

Dr. Catherine McCarthy has spent her career helping companies build powerful leadership, effective teamwork, and high performance in demanding environments.
Her approach draws both on her doctorate in clinical psychology and over ten years of consulting to enrich individual and organizational contributions. She also looks to her own experience racing in 141 mile long Ironman triathlons for additional insights regarding success under pressure. Catherine’s work has focused on executive selection, executive coaching, inspirational speaking, group facilitation and leadership development.
Catherine earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Princeton University graduating cum laude and obtained her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the Illinois Institute of Technology. After a fellowship at Yale University’s Consultation Center, she has worked exclusively as a management consultant based in Chicago.
In addition Catherine is a co-author of Leading at The Edge (AMACOM, 2000) a book for business leaders which outlines ten key leadership and teamwork strategies to optimize performance under adversity.
